When there are several programs running within the same terminal window, the running programs are shown as separate buttons in the Task Bar. You can select the program you require out of those running by pressing the left button on the mouse while the mouse pointer is over the button.
When the mouse pointer is over the terminal, pressing the right mouse button will cause a popup menu to appear. It has the same menu items as the File Menu on the Menu Bar.
